Four weeks ago, my cousin was planning to get the car of her dreams and ever since she wanted to own an SUV. We went to many different car dealers and saw a lot of selections such as the Toyota RAV-4, Nissan Murano, Acura MDX and Honda CR-V. Choosing was tough, but then she had decided to buy the 2005 Honda CR-V. She asked my opinion about the car. After I had carefully studied the structure of the car and hearing certain information about the 2005 Honda CR-V, I found that the auto was actually beneficial.

As I examined the 2005 Honda CR-V I discovered that it has several fascinating qualities. One of these is the added safety feature of the car. Aside from the driver and the passenger's airbag, it also includes a side curtain airbags. Those airbags help to protect the head, chest or any part of the body that are very sensitive to severe collision from the crash. When an accident occurs the airbags will automatically inflate right away to protect the passengers.

However, a certain fact remains that SUV's has a high risk of turn over accidents. Before we bought the automobile, the dealer warned my cousin about the high turn over risks and the car even has a warning sign on the top of the driver side visor. Knowing this about the vehicle swayed my opinion about the safety of the car, but then we still considered it. After taking its safety issues into consideration, I realized that certain features of the auto would help prevent unwanted damages from the turn over accidents. Some of those features are the Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and Vehicle stability Assist system (VSA). Acting as a safety feature, the ABS prevents the brake to lock when there is a sudden applied pressure on the brakes. This would help to prevent skidding and retain steering control. Nowadays, the ABS comes standard in automobiles that are built while the VSA system serves as an added feature. One of the purposes of the VSA is that it helps stabilize the vehicle into making sudden turns. It also helps maintain traction during accelerating on slippery roads. All those safety features are added to increase the security of the passengers. Although, driving safely and defensively are essential, the safety features suit her satisfaction, as well as mine.

In addition, I was also pleased and captivated with the design of the CR-V. If you would take a longer and closer look, the bumper seems to be integrated to the body. The grille and bumper are now more stylish with the new cylindrical headlights. The front headlights are a stretch version of the existing odyssey headlight with a little modification to include additional pairs of bulbs. Furthermore, based on what I read on the manual, the 2005 Honda CR-V has 160 horsepower 14 engine, and paired with a 5-speed atomic or manual transmission. This helps the car run smoothly and also will help her save from gas expenses.

Aside from the exterior, I also like the interior design of the CR-V. The car is built to help the driver maintain eye contact on the road. Some of the standard features include air conditioning, FM/AM radio, cassette and CD player that can load up to 6 CD's. The structure of the car helps differentiate the access to the air condition and the heat system. In addition, there is a built-in radio control on the steering wheel of the car. This also adds up to the safety of the driver and the passenger since there won't be a need to reach for the radio controls. The driver can easily adjust the radio system while driving, which makes it more convenient.

The 2005 Honda CR-V is useful for long driving with families and friends. This is what I like most about it; it has a built-in table. This is made for those people who love to go out or go somewhere to find adventure. Besides her, we also feel very lucky that she have this car since we all like to go to parks and have picnics. The built-in table is perfectly made for our family trips and or her trips with friends, so we can stop anytime anywhere to eat whenever hunger strikes.

After finding out all this information, I thought about my impression about the CR-V and I thought the car fits my cousin well. Checking out all the additional safety features such as the airbags, anti-lock brake and vehicle stability assist systems are great advantages for her to feel secure and also for me to somehow reconsider my hesitation due to the fact that it has a high risk turn over accidents. Furthermore, the exterior and interior design matches with the modern car outlook and not to mention her glamorous style. It seems to appear that she found the car of her dreams and so I am very much happy and proud for her for being capable of making her dream come to life.
