This is where you are now. Here you will find the web site tour, the FAQ, the class syllabus which outlines the course goals, attendance policies, grading policies, participation requirements, etc. There is also a Fall 2001 calendar and a course schedule for our class.

This is where the main "material" of the course resides. The modules (what we have instead of lectures) live in this section. Very important area.

Assignments
This is where you will find the readings, papers and quizzes. Any other homework assignments will be posted here (an announcement will also be made to alert you). Be sure to check this area regularly.

Communication
This area holds all of the communication tools. Discussion, chat, and email are located here, along with student and group pages. You can engage in discussion with other members of the class and with me in a variety of ways (email, a discussion board, real-time chat).

This is where most of the course asynchronous interaction will take place. You should be sure to read EVERY SINGLE new post each time you log on. All the discussions can be reached by links from the modules, or you can go straight to them.

Student Tools
This area holds the tools needed to submit information to the instructor (Student Drop Box), view a course calendar, check your grades, manage your homepage, and edit your profile. There is also the Student Manual that will give you additional information how to work with your web site.
