For your final paper, you will read a novel, and write an essay which connects the novel to the themes you've read about and discussed in the course. Make sure you present some connections to one or more of the stories, the discussion boards, the readings in the modules, and the websites linked in the modules.
Click HERE to see a powerpoint presentation of the list of novels from which you can choose for your final paper. (the powerpoint presentation includes some pictures of the books' covers--but you can't judge a book by its cover, right? )--There is also a brief description of each book. If the powerpoint was doesn't load (shouldn't be a problem, as long as you have a java-enabled browser),
You can
When you've made your choice, or as you think about it, go to the Discussion Board to post the novel you've chosen. Maybe someone else will be writing about the same book.
The paper should be 8-12 pages in length, but as usual, quality is more important than quantity.
This paper will be due before 9 AM on Friday, December 19. NO late papers!
