Course Information -> General Information -> Course Projects -> Final Paper
There are two options for the final paper. For the first option, you may write a paper based on a science fiction novel. I'll post a list of about twenty possibilities, or you can choose a novel which is not on the list. I'll also be happy to consult with you if you want a personal recommendation based on your responses to the stories or the modules.
The paper itself is basically a longer version (8-12 pages) of the papers you will write for each module. You will come up with a topic with my help and approval.
For the second option I'll expect you to summarize and connect the the major themes of all the Modules, with special attention to the postings on the Discussion Boards. The final paper is your chance to look back, and carefully think about and describe what you have learned in the course.
You will choose one of these options, whichever you prefer.
