You need a computer with internet access. You don't need the most high-tech screamer of a machine (but if you're interested, here's my machine--just because I built it myself and I'm proud of it). You can use a macintosh or a pc, but it has to be available to you for long, comfortable, convenient, uninterrupted sessions. You need a printer (not absolutely, but it will help).
