Hey my name is Nikaury. Nikaury means queen of cion (so I’ve heard). I was born in Bronx, New York. My family is from the south of Dominican Republic. So I believe I’m a little bite of both worlds. I'm short (5'1"1/2), exotic, pessimist and with the New York attitude.
I am an up coming performing artist. I enjoy dancing (ballet, modern, tap, jazz etc.), acting and a lot of other stuff. I decided to go to college because lets be realistic in performing art you have a very slim chance of succeeding, and also is not a long carrier. So I want to get a degree in something. I don’t know what yet (psychology, nutrition, philosophy). When I make my mind up I’ll let you know.
As a writer I would like to learn more how to expand my Ideas. I seem to have difficulties doing that. I hope that in this class I get the opportunity to learn that.

Professor Ugoretz: Nikaury, this sounds great. I like the idea that you're being practical about your future--but still trying to pursue your dreams.
Have you ever visited the Dominican Republic?

Ian Dennis: Hey Nikaury, you're lucky, I wish my name had another meaning too... Anyways, its sweet that you love so many differnt kinds of dancing, you can never close your options/mind. I hope your able to succeed as a performing artist, keep me updated! Oh yeah, to answer your question, I've always loved cars and car audio. After almost losing mine, the accident just made me realize that you cant take life for granted, and to live everyday for what its worth.

Kun Lin: Hi, Nikaury, my name is Queenie... it seems to mean something as yours. You are so amazing by knowing such many kinds of dances. You know what, it's lucky for a person whom can make his/her interest to be the career. So, just go for your destination, you will be the dancing queen as your dream.

Celina Padilla: Hi Nikaury, I'm Celina (means Celestial or Moon, i read it in a r.l stine book at age 12). You sound so creative! I'm sure you heard this thousands of times, but I am truly believe that if you enjoy doing something so passionately you shouldn't give up your dreams no matter what the obstacles are, because, once you reach there, the victory will only be sweeter! but in the off chance you don't make it, at least you won't have any regrets and wonder "what if", right? Have you ever thought of teaching dance? I'm sure you will do just fine. How long have you been dancing? Take care!
