Short review of the new Ridley Scott movie:
It’s silly. Not even very scary.
Most important fact.
Yes, on the alien planet, entering the hollow mountain, the members of the scientific exploration team were using the Fenix TK-45 flashlight.
I sat through the whole movie thinking “is that a TK-45? I think it is. I’ve been wanting to buy one of those!”
I didn’t hate Prometheus. I was intrigued by it and the potential connection to Alien, but David stole the show. He was the most interesting character. That and I have a thing for Noomi Rapace. The ending kind of threw me off and its very Lovecraft-ian, but I’d like to see another one.
If anything, it made me buy Alien and Aliens on Blu-Ray
Haven’t see the movie yet, but damn it now I need one of those flashlights. 😉
unrelated to this particular post–
I’m here because I was listening to the Librivox recording of Dickens’ Hard Times
while working in my studio.
Nice work on the narration, and thank you for donating your time and vocal chords. It’s appreciated!
